Automotive History

Our facility was built in the early 20th century and is located in the old New Departure Mfg. building, where Rockwell Inc. made the first taxicabs that were delivered to New York City. Morton Automotive Group is steeped in a rich old-world automotive history that reflects in the quality and craftsmanship of our work.
Restoration Shop
​
Our restoration shop is constantly full of new projects coming in and completed projects leaving for delivery. We not only do restorations, but also coach-building and design. Much of the work we do is done by hand, by some of the best craftsmen in the country.
Impressive Showroom
​
Not only does our showroom house some of the finest automobiles in the country, but it is filled with authentic turn-of-the-century decor. Walking into our showroom is taking a trip back in time. From gas pumps to parking meters, our attention to detail is unmatched.
